The Tradition Continues...

The Stavely Pro Rodeo has been in existence for over 60 years and every year we are proud of the amazing performance put on. Stavely may be the smallest town in Alberta but we are more known for our BIG rodeo. Our multigenerational committee is solely powered by volunteer hours and the passion that each member has to continue the tradition. The Stavley Pro Rodeo has faced adversity through-out the 60 years – Multiple arena fires, snow storms, economic turmoil, drought, and a global pandemic. Despite these challenges, the rodeo weekend remains a memory making, heart filling, exhilarating weekend EVERY YEAR.  We have world class athletes attend our rodeo and spectators from near and far convoy to our event.  We pride ourselves on hospitality – for our rodeo fans, our athletes, and our sponsors. This hospitality originates from our small town roots and even with the growth of our event each year, this is still the backbone of our event.
